Alchemy Charity Advisers was incorporated, with immensely fine timing, at the height of the worst recession since the 1929 Wall Street crash. We thought that if it was so bad, then lots of people could do with a helping hand.
Scotland has some c. 20,000 + registered charities. Some do well, some survive and some do not do well at all. While you as a charity may feel you do well, or even quite well, it’s possible that you could do better or likely much much better.
So who do we think we can help?
- Charities with committed pro-active trustees and executive
- Charities who know they should be doing better
- Charities who need guidance and creative ideas – and respond to this input
- Charities who appreciate that what they get from us is worth something and worth paying for
- Charities who know that they need to run the charity like any good business.
- Charities who understand that we are NOT charity fundraisers or administrators, but accept that they are both these things.
| We cannot help charities who are not in a position to help themselves. If we find this is so, we shall say so. Which will be the best advice you could receive. |
How does it all work?
Following a meeting, or maybe two, we will provide our recommendations, at no cost to the individual or charity.
If the charity wishes to proceed with us, we will agree a price for our future support, which is within the Charity’s budget. We believe that our recommendations should generate considerably increased cash flow.
Alchemy’s key brand values are transparency & effectiveness and 10% of any generated annual surplus will be donated to Scottish charities. |
